Get the alarms you want when you want them
In our last CloudReady Tech post we showed how to do basic alarm creation and configuration for multiple sites and sensors. However, you will most likely need to revisit alarm configurations, especially threshold values, periodically to tune the alarms to fire often enough that you can rapidly respond to real issues, but not every time there is a momentary network hiccup. This is especially true for new deployments and new monitoring sites, as early phase updates to the environment shift the normal baseline performance expectations for your apps.
In this second video on alarm configuration, we explain how to make these adjustments.
