Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) is a network security framework which combines Wide Area Networking (WAN) capabilities with network security functionality. It supports the dynamic, secure access needs of organizations. SASE centers around delivering cloud based security services rather than traditional on-premise hardware.

These services include Secure Web Gateways (SWGs), Firewall-as-a-Service (FWaaS), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and more.
